On this course we will be focusing on the cultivation of compassion – the quality of tuning into and wanting to alleviate suffering in ourselves, others and all phenomena in experience. We will be exploring creative ways of approaching this practice. The cultivation of compassion is a skill that can be learned and deepened over time. We will also be looking at what kinds of attitudes and conditions are conducive to developing and deepening compassion, as well as some common obstacles to practice. The course will offer a practical set of tools for the meditator to develop and deepen their practice. The course is suitable for beginners, as well as for people with more experience.
The course will consist of guided meditations, teaching and Q & A. It is also possible to sign up for a one-to-one discussion about practice before the session. If you are interested in this, please email Juha at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note: This course is primarily intended for people who don’t speak Finnish and the places are limited.
